Got in my car and drove out of town,
Flipped on the brights and rolled the windows down,
Saw the stars in the dark night sky,
A shifting perspective as the world went by.
All of a sudden a fog rolled in,
Felt like cold hands held against my skin.
And I remember my old man sayin’,
that on nights like these,
you’d hear that guitar playin’.
Went to the doctor, cause I was in pain,
Said something’s wrong Doc, it’s right in my brain.
He had a machine, and put me inside,
Said “Hold on tight, you’re in for a ride”
Some hours later, when I was near dead,
Out came a code from inside of my head,
A Russian scientist was first to translate it,
It was transcribed to a song,
here’s how it went when I played it.
I think of them sometimes, I don’t think much at all,
I wonder if they’ll call, I wonder if they’ll call.
I know I’ll be alright, I’ll just go out at night,
And hope they see me, And come reclaim me.
